Using financial and human resources efficiently on day-to-day operations will help create time and money to innovate. All areas of IT must become an efficient supply chain, and nowhere is better to start this process and nowhere better typifies IT as a business supply chain than the technology warehouse that is the Data Centre.
Taking cost and complexity out of the Data Centre is now firmly on the agenda's of many CIOs. Every 1% of cost taken out of technology or operations in the Data Centre used more effectively elsewhere is good for the business, and we can see a plethora of opportunities to make the Data Centre simpler and at the same time more able to deliver agile IT services.
