We are currently showing a range of Cisco, IBM, Microsoft and VMware solution demos, as well as our Role Based Demonstration, that showcases how Logicalis integrates both networking and computing technologies into ‘a business solution’ – incorporating portal, collaboration and self-service technology and applications.
Roles-Based Demonstration
The Logicalis self-service portal showcases the experience of three individuals: a Contact Centre agent; a local citizen; and a CEO. The demo features unified communications, SOA, eForms and Dashboard technologies to provide secure information capture; intelligent, personalised delivery of process and information; graphical, customisable KPIs and decision support tools; one-click access to the right people, inside and outside the organisation; and powerful collaboration and communication tools for rapid, effective major incident response.
Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 Demonstration
Illustrating effective collaboration using Microsoft OCS technology, this demonstration uses presence, instant messaging, video (webcam), audio calls and application sharing between internal PCs, showing three members of staff collaborating successfully on the production of a report. The demonstration also shows the way in which this Microsoft technology allows a conversation to move seamlessly from one communication channel to another while maintaining a consistent history.
Cisco Demonstration 1: telecommuter, office and home user
This demonstration showcases Cisco Call Manager 6 focusing on: Web-based user and admin features; IP phone XML applications; call parking, pickup and forwarding features; IP Communicator, Wireless IP Telephony; and voicemail/Unified Messaging features.
Cisco Demonstration 2: voice, video and web conferencing
This demonstration showcases MeetingPlace Express (MPE), focusing on: voice, video and web conferencing; secure web conferencing via the Internet; integration with Microsoft Outlook; meeting management and control capabilities via Web and Cisco Unified IP Phone interfaces; and integration with Cisco.
