Logicalis Network Solutions Launches 'Security & Compliance in the Extended and Mobile Enterprise'
Logicalis Network Solutions (LNS), an international provider of high-performance IT integration solutions, has launched a dedicated ‘Security & Compliance in the Extended and Mobile Enterprise' consultation service for IT departments, amid growing concerns that many organisations are struggling to retain control over the proliferation of multiple devices penetrating and utilising the corporate network for downloading files, storage or remote working. Increasingly, in what is becoming an open-house culture on the network, businesses are leaving corporate data vulnerable to breaches of security.
Explains Mark Thomas, Head of Security at LNS, "The increased use of mobile access from remote devices and access for trusted 3rd parties is helping to streamline business processes and empower users with the ability to make split-second decisions. However, many organisations do not employ a dedicated strategy, nor have the capabilities to enforce security policies on the use of mobile devices. The consultation service has been designed to equip IT managers with the ability to adopt security technologies and utilise existing solutions that will enable them to monitor and manage their extended workforce, supply chain partners and trusted 3rd parties. This will reduce security risks and the rising threat of non-compliance.
The tailor-made service consists of technology suites that can be implemented to track, monitor and manage the mobile and extended workforce. These include VPNs, end point policy management and enforcement, encryption, web filters and IM filters that enable administrators to guarantee the authenticity of the user, the legitimacy of that users systems and ultimately the complete integrity of the network and resources being utilised.
