LOGICALIS AWARDED BT 'PARTNER SOLUTION OF THE YEAR'
200% INCREASE ON LIKE-ON-LIKE SALES
Logicalis announces today it has been awarded BT's Partner Solution of the Year, in recognition of strong sales performance and contracts secured during 2005/6. With annual BT sales performance up nearly 200% on 2004, to in excess of £14m in contracted business, the award demonstrates Logicalis' continued commitment to excellence.

A significant influence on the Logicalis/BT partnership during 2005/6 was the successful tender for the Welsh Assembly Government's ‘Life Long Learning Network for Wales'. A three year multi-million £ deal, delivered jointly by Logicalis and BT, the contract is for the provision and support of high speed broadband internet services throughout schools, libraries and ICT learning centres across Wales.
An initiative of the Welsh Assembly Government, the project will enable collaboration between institutions for learning, teaching and research, using existing and emerging networked applications.

The contract with the Welsh Assembly Government is a prime example. As part of the contract Logicalis will provide hardware, bandwidth, professional services and a bespoke extended maintenance service, which will relieve IT personnel of the ongoing management and development of the network.
