Logicalis to further support global recruitment company Randstad in the UK
Slough, England, 29 August 2007: Logicalis, an international provider of ICT solutions has signed a three year extension to their managed services contract with Randstad UK , part of the Randstad Group, the third largest staffing organisation in the world.
The agreement follows the successful roll out of a new IT infrastructure which will form the backbone of Randstad's core business systems across the UK, and lay the foundations to support the company's demanding growth strategy.
Business critical applications used by Randstad UK's 120 plus offices are all reliant on the network's availability. These include a leading CRM solution, weekly payroll run for over 10,000 flex-workers, a biometric time and attendance system and invoicing. Randstad's CRM system, hosted at Logicalis, provides a national database of potential job candidates. This eliminates paper records and enhances the speed and quality of candidate match to job specification by improving the accessibility of information.
Fred van der Tang, managing director for Randstad UK said: “As part of a board-led objective to improve quality of service and increase market share Randstad UK has replaced its core business systems. This will improve accessibility of information at branch level and increase the accuracy of data inputted on to the system. Since the initial solution was deployed, on time and on budget, Randstad has already seen a reduction in lead times for fulfilling vacancies and an improvement in the quality of candidate to job fit.
